Eat Here First — Our Favourite Ribble Valley Spots for a Bite or a Brew
Because a style refresh is always better after coffee or a good pub lunch
We get it. Life’s busy — and sometimes, it’s hard to squeeze in a wardrobe update and catch up with a friend. That’s why we love being in the Ribble Valley, where great food, cosy pubs, and proper coffee are just a stone’s throw from EQ.
Here are our go-to spots when we’re not styling, serving our lovely customers, or running after the kids!
The Inn at Whitewell
The classic. Fireplaces, views, and a menu that never disappoints. If you’ve got visitors or need a little treat-yourself moment, this is where you go. If you really want a treat book a stay over in one of their amazing rooms. Top tip – riverside, old building – these rooms are our faves.
Jungle, Clitheroe
The coolest little spot for brunch, coffee, and people-watching. Friendly faces, great music, and everything on the menu is delicious. Plus, they do some amazing Northern Soul pop up Friday evenings too.
Coffee Exchange, Clitheroe
The official coffee of the EQ Weekday Wardrobe Club. If you pop by the shop, chances are we’ll send you there for a flat white and one of those dangerously good toasties. (No wonder they queue out the door at the weekends!) Dogs welcome too.
The Lower Buck, Waddington
A proper pub in the best possible way. Warm, welcoming, and full of character. Great for slow Sundays or post-walk reward lunches.
The Brown Cow, Chatburn
A little gem with hearty food and a really good atmosphere. Great spot for gathering the gang and when the sun shines the beer garden is simply perfect.
The Assheton Arms, Downham
Charming, traditional, and surrounded by the kind of countryside that makes you want to move house. One of our faves for a reason.
Wherever you go, tag us if you’re wearing EQ or eq bou — we love seeing our pieces out in the wild (especially next to a good coffee or glass of red)
